Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload and work well in an educational setting
- Commitment to onsite, in-person service delivery for the entire school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support
- Provide direct interventions, therapy, and progress monitoring for students with diverse needs
- Maintain clear records and participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and multidisciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and expression
