Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-age children is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal abilities and teamwork mindset
- ISBE number required for application consideration
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and support to a diverse caseload (EC–8th grade), working collaboratively with a .5 FTE SLP
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation compliant with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary planning
- Support student progress and integrate best practices in speech-language services
