Speech Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Key qualifications:
- Active Illinois PEL and current Speech Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in educational settings, particularly with EC–8th grade populations
- Commitment to working on-site (virtual/VOCO positions are not available)
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
Role responsibilities:
- Assess students’ communication skills, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based therapy
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning goals
- Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with district, state, and union standards
- Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary IEP meetings and professional development within the school environment
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that empowers all learners
