Key qualifications:

  • Active Illinois PEL and current Speech Language Pathologist license from IDFPR
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in educational settings, particularly with EC–8th grade populations
  • Commitment to working on-site (virtual/VOCO positions are not available)
  • Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset

Role responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ communication skills, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based therapy
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning goals
  • Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with district, state, and union standards
  • Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary IEP meetings and professional development within the school environment
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere that empowers all learners
