You’ll work closely with students, families, and fellow educators in a supportive community, delivering speech and language services that make a lasting difference. Multiple caseload options are available, letting you match your strengths and interests to the needs of the school.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Eligibility or possession of IL SLP licensure
  • ASHA CCCs preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based experience, or strong desire to support K-12 populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with teams of teachers, school counselors, and administrators

Key Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across K-12th grade
  • Provide direct speech-language interventions, both within classrooms and through pull-out sessions
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and specialists to support student IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Adapt therapy methods to suit diverse learning styles and developmental stages
  • Participate in school-based professional development and team initiatives
