Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Eligibility or possession of IL SLP licensure
- ASHA CCCs preferred; strong CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience, or strong desire to support K-12 populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building skills
- Collaborative approach to working with teams of teachers, school counselors, and administrators
Key Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across K-12th grade
- Provide direct speech-language interventions, both within classrooms and through pull-out sessions
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and specialists to support student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy methods to suit diverse learning styles and developmental stages
- Participate in school-based professional development and team initiatives
