Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license required
- Professional Educator License (PEL)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech therapy
- Open to SLPs completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school-based or healthcare SLP settings is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK through 8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Collaborate directly with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult on strategies for classroom communication success
- Offer support and resources to educators and families to foster communication development
