Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL
A contract opportunity awaits a bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. This unique role involves working just two hours weekly in the afternoons—Mondays (1:20 pm - 2:20 pm) and Fridays (1:50 pm - 2:50 pm)—serving both a preschooler and a first-grade student. As a valued collaborator, you'll co-teach alongside the current speech pathologist, sharing your expertise to help deliver supportive, culturally responsive therapy to emerging learners.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Schools-based SLP experience preferred, including familiarity with pediatric and early childhood caseloads
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience with teletherapy tools and platforms, or willingness to adapt to online service delivery
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct bilingual speech and language therapy to preschool and first-grade students
- Co-teach in partnership with the on-site speech pathologist, enhancing communication outcomes
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to the developmental needs of diverse young learners
- Participate in documentation and progress monitoring consistent with school standards
- Engage families and teachers in supporting student growth
