Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid GA SLP license and active teaching certificate
- Open to SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY candidates
- Experience or specialization working with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative environment within the school
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain regular documentation and progress tracking for caseload
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary educational teams
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to support communication development
