Speech Language Pathologist in Chatham, VA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Recent experience in a school-based setting, especially with elementary-aged children, is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to travel minimally between school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough records of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals and ensure continuity of care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning processes
