Step into a vital position working with pre-school through grade 5 students. Your work will focus on a single location (not itinerant), ensuring continuity of care and meaningful relationship-building with students and school staff. The district operates on a hybrid schedule, balancing safety and connection. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CFs) are encouraged to apply.
What you should bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in West Virginia
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, but strong SLP-CF candidates will be considered
- Experience or passion for serving elementary-aged children
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support teams
- Comfortable adapting within a hybrid on-site/virtual instructional model
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy for speech and language disorders
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage with families and educators to ensure comprehensive student support
