We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a welcoming school team in Charleston, Mississippi. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to help students strengthen their communication skills while enjoying a flexible schedule in a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and small group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district and state requirements.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and classroom strategies.
Support students in developing communication skills that enhance academic and social success.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active Mississippi Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply if eligible.
Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.\
