Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to provide speech and language services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The SLP-CFY will work with students requiring continued support over the summer to maintain communication skills and progress toward educational goals.
The Clinical Fellow will collaborate with experienced speech-language pathologists, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality therapeutic services in a school-based setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
Implement treatment plans and therapy goals aligned with students’ IEPs
Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring under supervision of a licensed SLP
Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, and progress reports
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student communication needs
Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions to improve speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations
Adapt therapy materials and instructional approaches to meet individual student needs
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision and state licensure
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
