Key qualifications & experience:
- Must be currently in your clinical fellowship year for speech-language pathology
- Eligible for or hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations, K-12
- Eagerness to collaborate with educational staff, families, and caregivers
- Ability to maintain required documentation and compliance standards
Your core responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct intervention to students, in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to optimize student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and ongoing evaluation
- Engage with family members and caregivers to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines
