Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (2026–2027 School Year)
Schedule: 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday
Contract Dates: August 10, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Bradenton, FL for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, school-based position working with a diverse student population. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
Caseloads and school assignments will vary based on district needs and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech/language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain accurate documentation, including therapy notes and evaluation reports
- Support students with a variety of communication disorders across grade levels
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (Required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred (required for CCC-level candidates)
- CFY candidates accepted (Master’s Degree required for CFY eligibility)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Note: SLPAs will not be considered for this role.
Compensation:
- $37–$50/hour for SLPs with CCCs
- $30–$43/hour for CFY candidates
