Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Wilmington, Delaware

You’ll be joining a collaborative environment with two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists, allowing you to focus primarily on inclusion students and provide support for a manageable caseload of approximately 40-45 students. The majority of the more complex student needs will be handled by a highly experienced SLP peer, giving you continuity, mentorship, and team-based support.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Delaware
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptability when working with diverse student populations, including some with complex needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to caseload of 40-45 elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Collaborate with the school team to ensure the best student outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation compliant with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and support parent communication
- Contribute to an inclusive and positive educational environment
