You’ll work at one or two school sites, focusing primarily on evaluations for K-8 students. Settings include a cluster for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, ASD units, and a mix of supportive on-site team members, guaranteeing robust collaboration as you grow in your CFY year.
What we’re seeking:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY candidates encouraged)
- Active Florida SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong experience conducting evaluations, with an emphasis on Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Prior school-based experience is a plus, though not required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with dedicated teams
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations, particularly supporting autism caseloads
- Develop, interpret, and document federal/state compliant reports
- Collaborate closely with school staff and families to support student success
- Manage a dynamic caseload at 1–2 schools, with schedules designed for work-life balance
- Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship
