Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active eligibility for state licensure as an SLP-CFY
- Completion of academic coursework and ready to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year
- Passion for working with school-aged children in diverse educational environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and drive to collaborate with educational staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services under direct supervision, targeting individual education program (IEP) goals
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and assist in developing IEPs for students with varied communication needs
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to foster student growth and school participation
- Educate families and educators on communication strategies that support students’ success
- Stay current on best practices within the field, actively seeking guidance and mentorship
