Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before starting)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC) or currently pursuing CFY
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language services in school settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for students with speech and language difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students, including group and one-on-one interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
