Desired Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
- Holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- State licensure for SLP at the time of hire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or genuine interest in speech therapy within pediatric and school-based environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability in dynamic educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations to students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students’ unique needs
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Maintain up-to-date records in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing clinical recommendations and progress updates
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, sharing strategies and tools to support communication skills in the classroom and at home
