Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF)
Location: Near Hazleton, PA
Position: Full-time (35 hours/week)
Duration: Full school year (August to May)
Setting: K-12 School District
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our school district team near Hazleton, PA. This position focuses on serving K-12 students with a wide range of speech and language needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with diverse caseloads and gain valuable clinical experience under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of children with a variety of speech and autism-related needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions to support professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
- Eligible for Pennsylvania Clinical Fellowship (CF) year.
- Strong interest and experience working with K-12 students across diverse needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment with children on the autism spectrum.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, approximately 35 hours per week.
- School calendar schedule: August through May.
