Soliant Education is working with a school district in Chicago, Illinois to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opening for the 2026–2027 school year. This onsite position offers an excellent opportunity to support elementary students in their communication development while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support professionals.
This opportunity is open to both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) looking to begin their careers in a school-based setting.
Position Highlights
Location: Chicago, IL
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Setting: Onsite
Grade Level: Elementary School
Employment Classification: W-2
Pay Range: $45–$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Role Responsibilities
Deliver speech and language services to students with identified needs
Administer evaluations, assessments, and screenings
Create and implement individualized therapy programs and IEP goals
Monitor student performance and document progress toward objectives
Partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
Attend IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and decision-making
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility for licensure
New graduates completing their Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply
Ability to satisfy all district and state employment requirements
Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
