Pediatric Clinical Fellow Speech Language Pathologist in Ankeny, IA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Eligible for or holding ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing CFY
- State licensure in Iowa or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations in educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans for students with communication and speech disorders
- Deliver direct therapy services based on students’ IEP goals, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote language development and academic success
- Document and report on student progress in compliance with school and legal standards
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and caregivers, promoting best practices in communication strategies
