Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligibility for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) must be valid or obtainable
- Experience with pediatric caseloads, especially in educational settings, preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Offer direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and resources
- Remain current in best practices and evidence-based interventions within pediatric SLP
