Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Current or eligibility for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • State licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) must be valid or obtainable
  • Experience with pediatric caseloads, especially in educational settings, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Offer direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records of assessments, progress notes, and required compliance documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
  • Educate staff and families on communication strategies and resources
  • Remain current in best practices and evidence-based interventions within pediatric SLP
