Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP License required for SLP roles; SLPA Certification for Assistant positions
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or teletherapy services
- Comfort working with diverse caseloads in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- New graduates (CFY candidates) encouraged to apply—supervision provided
- Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed (itinerant setting)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapy for students with speech and language needs across K-12 grades
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting in accordance with district protocols; training on the IEP system provided
- Contribute to development and implementation of individualized student programs
- Utilize both direct and indirect service models; paid administration time and team meetings included
- Support positive student outcomes in an encouraging, resource-rich environment
- Take advantage of mentorship and structured onboarding for new staff
