Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and documentation standards
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy approaches and current best practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments for students, identifying strengths and targeted areas for improvement
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to support student success and growth
- Monitor student progress, adjust therapy plans as necessary, and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight for effective team-based decision-making
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and classroom aides to facilitate generalization of communication strategies
