Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred by teachers or parents
- Design and deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Create and update IEPs and maintain accurate documentation
- Consult with educators and family members to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Keep up-to-date with best practices and ongoing developments in the field
