School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Carlsbad, California

Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required) in California
- Prior experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Knowledge in facilitating therapy for students presenting mild to moderate communication challenges
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create tailored treatment plans and work collaboratively with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, develop intervention strategies, and deliver services to meet students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with school and state requirements
- Engage in ongoing communication with educational staff and parents regarding progress and strategies
- Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
This full-time contract role follows a 7.5-hour workday schedule, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced professional experience. Located in a vibrant, supportive school community near Carlsbad, you’ll be a valued resource to students and colleagues alike.
