Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience within school settings highly desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for speech and language disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible and adaptable to serve students across varying grade levels and locations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for students in the ESY program (4 full days per week during summer)
- Transition into a five full-day schedule during the regular school year
- Split time among various school buildings as assigned, ensuring continuity of care
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies
