Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license
- Valid PA Educator Certification
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Overview:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students three days a week at the middle school level and two days at the high school
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with varying speech and language needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other school professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, IEPs, and therapy progress
- Communicate with families regarding progress and recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with multidisciplinary team decisions
