Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
  • Previous experience or coursework in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Deep understanding of speech/language disorders in elementary-aged children
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language services to students from kindergarten through fifth grade
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
