Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Cambridge, MA

Key Qualifications:
- Active or pending SLP license (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment tool
- Excellent observation, documentation, and collaborative skills
- Enthusiasm for working with preschool-aged children in both individual and group settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 5-6 preschool evaluations per week utilizing the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment tool, serving as an observer SLP
- Manage a caseload of approximately 10 preschool students, divided between morning and afternoon classes
- Collaborate with transdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Employ play-based and developmentally appropriate interventions to foster student success
- Maintain thorough progress notes, assessment documentation, and participate in required meetings
This role encompasses a full 35-hour work week, beginning with a 7:50 AM start, perfect for professionals who thrive in structured environments and are eager to engage with early learners. The collaborative, supportive atmosphere provides valuable experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
