School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Boston, Massachusetts

Your expertise with the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment tool will be essential as you complete 5-6 evaluations weekly, focusing on observation to inform best practices and individualized education plans. You'll also oversee a caseload of approximately 10 Pre-K students, splitting your time between morning and afternoon classes to offer personalized, impactful therapy and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Experience with or willingness to learn the Toni Linder Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment
- Passion for working with preschool-aged children in a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly Pre-K evaluations using a play-based approach
- Provide speech and language therapy services to assigned Pre-K students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to planning meetings
- Utilize observational skills to support comprehensive assessments
