A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This position offers a focused, summer-term role supporting K-12 students.
Location: Roxbury, MA
Duration: July 6, 2025 – August 7, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day (30 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to assess and support student communication needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to specific student goals and requirements during ESY
- Maintain accurate documentation consistent with regulatory and district standards
- Adhere to established safety protocols and support a positive learning environment
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families
- Safe Care Certification preferred but not required
