Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - North Adams, MA
Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from elementary through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite role begins in August and concludes in June, offering a consistent 32.5-hour workweek and the chance to make a significant impact on a diverse caseload. What You'll Bring:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language services
- Background in pediatrics and healthcare environments considered valuable
- Ability to work effectively with students from elementary through high school
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students onsite
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain appropriate documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Support students’ academic and social-emotional growth through targeted interventions
