Speech Language Pathologist
An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in a school-based setting near Cambridge, ID. This long-term contract role offers an impactful and manageable caseload, allowing you to focus on fostering student growth and well-being in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Idaho Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience or familiarity working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized goals and interventions
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to a small, dedicated caseload (5-7 students, 30 minutes monthly per student)
- Deliver weekly individual sessions to one student (30 minutes per week)
- Conduct consultative services for two students monthly
- Develop, maintain, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student participation and success within the classroom and school environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication of student progress and goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for comprehensive care
This role begins as soon as possible and extends through May 25, 2027, with a flexible monthly schedule totaling 5–7 hours, providing excellent work-life balance.
