Situated near Callao, VA, this position focuses on evaluating and supporting students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs in an engaging school environment.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with educators, families, and allied professionals
- Deliver tailored therapy sessions and provide classroom-based interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with all regulatory requirements
- Engage actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student's growth and success
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Virginia SLP license, or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students is highly valued
