Make a difference this fall supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting! This full-time contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with children and teens across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. The assignment spans September through October, focusing on a diverse caseload that includes speech-only students as well as those eligible for special education.

You’ll collaborate with educators and support staff to deliver high-quality interventions, helping students achieve vital communication milestones. The bulk of the caseload consists of middle schoolers, including learners in self-contained Language and Learning Disabilities (LLD) and Autism (AU) classrooms, while the elementary caseload is approximately 15 students requiring about a day and a half of your attention each week.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage varied caseloads, including special education needs

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from elementary through high school
  • Assess, develop, and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and progress tracking
  • Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, special educators, and families
  • Provide both pull-out and in-class interventions as needed

Assignment Details:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • School hours: elementary (8:45am-3pm), middle (8:30am-2:50pm), high (8:05am-3pm)
