Required Experience & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year/CFY accepted)
- Background in school-based settings or pediatrics preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for virtual service delivery
- Experience in healthcare-related SLP roles a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for working collaboratively with educators, support staff, parents, and students
- Adaptability to provide both on-site and remote services as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate closely with special education professionals and general educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapies in both face-to-face and teletherapy settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Provide education and resources to families, empowering them to reinforce therapy strategies at home
- Stay current on best practices in pediatric, school-based, and teletherapy service delivery
