School Speech Language Pathologist - Burnsville, Minnesota
Make an impact in education as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Based in Minneapolis, MN and working within the surrounding area, you’ll have the opportunity to address communication needs for students as part of a dynamic school-based team. This contract, full-time position is open to both those fully credentialed (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellows (CFY), as well as licensed SLPAs, all passionate about supporting student growth.
Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Department of Education license as SLP or SLPA (required)
- Experience or strong interest in K-12 school settings
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to plan and implement direct and consultative speech-language services
- Commitment to fostering communicative growth in diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students based on IEPs and district needs
- Assess, develop, and implement treatment goals for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student learning and participation
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development opportunities
