Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to make a difference in the lives of K-8 students for the upcoming school year! This contract position, located onsite near Burlington, WI, runs from August through November and gives you the chance to put your clinical expertise to work in a supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates should possess strong experience in school settings and pediatrics, and be ready to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to address students’ unique communication needs.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid Wisconsin SLP license required
- Experience in schools and/or pediatric settings preferred
- Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Comfortable working with K-8th caseloads, tailored to a diverse student population
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through eighth grade
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress toward individualized goals
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate therapy records and comply with state and school documentation requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities
