Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents is strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation on student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other therapists to maximize student support
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for instructional strategies and accommodations
- Offer guidance and education to staff and parents regarding speech and language development
