Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds welcome
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy and individualized student care
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a school setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Contracted for 2.5 days per week (20 hours), allowing for excellent work-life balance
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students according to IEPs
- Effectively evaluate, plan, and carry out appropriate interventions for communication disorders
- Maintain consistent and clear documentation of progress and therapy sessions
- Work closely with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure holistic support for each student
- Support other on-site SLPs in team meetings and professional development
- Contribute to an environment where every student’s voice is valued
