This part-time role—spanning the 2026-2027 school year—invites you to make a difference by providing both testing and direct therapy to students receiving service plans. What We're Looking For:
- Active Texas SLP licensure (with fingerprint clearance or willingness to complete quickly)
- At least one year of post-CF experience supporting students in K-12 environments
- Strong background in providing speech/language therapy and conducting thorough assessments
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate well within a school team
- Superb communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Professional, caring, and flexible approach to student needs
- Availability to begin September 1, 2026, and commit through May 20, 2027
- Capacity to work 20 hours per week at Charlotte Anderson Elementary
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students on service plans
- Complete assessments and generate reports according to school timelines
- Consult, collaborate, and participate in meetings with teachers and families
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining required documentation
- Contribute your expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
- Stay up to date on best practices and Texas policies as they apply to school-based speech services
