Key Qualifications:
- Hold active Texas SLP licensure—unfortunately, candidates requiring Clinical Fellowship supervision cannot be considered at this time.
- Demonstrated experience in school-based testing and direct therapy for student service plans.
- Ability to quickly complete Texas state fingerprinting requirements if not already in the system.
- Skilled in communication, organization, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs as outlined in their service plans.
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and assist with eligibility determinations.
- Document progress meticulously and contribute to student evaluations and meetings as required.
- Work closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support student goals.
- Maintain compliance with state and school policies regarding documentation and reporting.
