Step into an impactful role supporting elementary and middle school students in the vibrant Burbank area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding pathway for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY), providing vital speech and language services throughout the school year.
This position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 2026, with a steady schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll manage a manageable caseload of 55 students, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to promote student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CA SLP License is required
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome
- Experience in school settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment and IEP presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
- Complete comprehensive assessments and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve communication goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each student’s growth
