Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support for each student
- Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and track student progress
- Participate in team meetings and in-service trainings as needed
- Advocate for best practices and support an engaging, positive learning environment
