Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Buffalo, Minnesota

The primary emphasis is on conducting initial evaluations and supporting student communication development. Whether you are a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – CCC, Clinical Fellow (CFY), or a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow your skills under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Current or pending SLP license (CCC, CFY) or SLPA certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in a school setting
- Strong foundation in conducting initial speech and language evaluations
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with educators and families
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial speech and language evaluations for students referred by classroom teachers or parents
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet each student’s unique needs
- Maintain detailed progress reports and documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to ensure optimal support for each child
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development
