School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Buena Park, California

This contract opportunity focuses on supporting students’ communication needs and advancing their academic and social growth. You’ll work with an experienced team, including on-site SLPAs, to deliver comprehensive services.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC certification and current CTC credential
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills supporting diverse K-6 student populations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable traveling between up to three elementary campuses (one site per day)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Oversee and collaborate with on-site SLPAs for service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in planning meetings and IEP conferences as needed
- Ensure services meet the needs of a 50–60 student caseload
- Work a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm
