Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Hold current license or eligibility for licensure from the state board
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively completing CFY
- Experience working with the pediatric population, ideally in a school setting
- Comfortable creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide direct therapy for students with a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain clear documentation, progress reporting, and compliance with educational standards
- Offer guidance, strategies, and resources to classroom staff for student success
