Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Effective collaborator with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with a variety of needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students two days per week
- Monitor and document student progress while maintaining accurate records
- Work collaboratively with educators, special education staff, and parents
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support plans
- Provide guidance and training to staff and families to support communication goals
