School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Binghamton, New York
Brand new opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students and help them reach their fullest potential! This on-site contract position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse K-12 student caseload, beginning in the upcoming 25/26 school year. The school community provides a robust support system, making it an excellent environment for both experienced professionals and those looking to expand their expertise.
Enjoy a schedule of Monday through Friday, working 37.5 hours per week. Compensation is competitive with rates starting at $50 per hour and increasing with experience.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active New York SLP license
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to student success
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop individualized education programs and monitor progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
